Toys'R'Us Giving Parents Free Educational Tools

Toys'R'Us, known to be one of the largest providers of toys for children, has now started a new program called the national Product Safety Vigilance Program. The program recognizes that over 200,000 products are returned to the stores nation wide in the past year due to the product manufacturing issues. The leading brand has now taking precautions to help parents take an advocacy role in making sure all products including educational tools are child friendly and safe.

The program runs through a simple eight steps checklist to help parents become more informed and aware of how to ensure the products they purchased are safe. The program is going to be launched to coincide with an annual event organised by Toys'R'Us called 'Great Trade-In'. This event also encourages parents to get rid of any toys in their homes which are unsafe.
