Rhinoceros Toys is a unique toy store in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania owned and operated by Kate Pettit. She has brought to life her vivid imagination for stores and talent for play at the store, where she offers a wide selection of educational toys and a lively learning community for children and their families as well.
Kids love to visit the store on vacation days, and Pettit has even set up a game library. Her summer Lego club has become a major hit as well. Children from 3 to 14 are divided into age groups with each group deciding on a building project. The final products are then displayed in the store window for a week. Pettit said that the kids get especially excited about seeing their work on display, and the older children are eager to help the younger kids with their projects.
